Labeling and Hybridization

Advanced Genomics  labeling system provide better resolution, and freedom from dye incorporation bias. We use direct, indirect and dendrimer labeling for  the following type of arrays:

  • miRNA Arrays
  •  amplified  mRNA expression
  • aCGH Arrays
Advanced Genomics  labeling system  has advantages  over other conventional  labeling systems. Followings are few of them:

  • generates efficient signal
  • avoids false positive genes due to genomic DNA contamination
  • needs minimum starting sample material
  • provides significant differential data
  • detects rarely expressed genes     

Hybridization Chamber:

One of the major reason for poor quality microarray results is inadequate hybridization due to inconsistent temperature and drying of samples in between long hybridization hours. We use surehyb chambers, Agilent hybridization oven, and advalytix slide booster- a special hybridization station that gives uniform and complete hybridization within 6-8 hours by providing sufficient moisture and consistent temperature throughout the hybridization.
